Conservation Concern: NONE

Population Trend: Substantial Decrease
Credibility: Very Good

The American Robin is an abundant statewide breeder in open woodlands, forest edges, shrublands, urban areas or almost anywhere with shrubs or trees.  Although BBS trends indicate that this species is increasing in the upper Midwest, BCN ebird trends indicate a significant decline in the CW Region.  However, this species is still abundant.  Populations in residential areas are also poorly sampled by the BCN Census.
