| | Conservation Concern: NONE Population Trend: Decreasing The Canada Warbler is a probably very rare breeder in the CW Region. This species was never historically common in the Chicago area. Breeding birds are typically found in woodlands with moderate to dense understory and occasionally forest edges. This species is not adequately sampled by the BCN Census to produce an accurate trend. This species has only been recorded 21 times since 1988 and 6 times since 1997. |
