Population Trend: Stable
Credibility: Moderate

The Eastern Kingbird is a common statewide breeder.  Preferred breeding habitats include forest edges and grasslands with shrubs.  BCN eBird estimated trends indicate that this species is fairly stable in the CW Region.  BBS trends for the upper Midwest show a significant yearly decrease of -1.9%.
