| | Conservation Concern: NONE Population Trend: Poorly Known The Horned Lark is a fairly common, but difficult to detect breeder in the fringe counties in the CW Region and an uncommon to rare breeder in the immediate Chicagoland area. This species is poorly sampled by the BCN Census which does not adequately sample agricultural areas. |
