The Spotted Sandpiper is an uncommon breeder in the CW Region, rare to the south.  Breeding habitat includes shorelines and gravel fields near lakes, ponds, and some marshes.  This species is poorly sampled by the BCN Census and accurate trends cannot be estimated.
