Population Trend: Poorly Known
Credibility: Very Poor

The Summer Tanager is a very rare breeder in the CW Region, fairly common in southern portions of the state.  Breeding habitat includes riparian forests and open woodlands with some understory.  This species was only recorded twice in the past eight years on BCN Census point counts.
