| Conservation Concern: NONE Population Trend: Increasing The White-breasted Nuthatch is a common statewide breeder. Preferred habitat includes cavities in mature woodlands with dead snags. This somewhat active species is fairly well detected on BCN Census point counts in woodland areas. BCN Trend estimates indicate that this species is increasing in the CW Region. |
