| | Conservation Concern: 7PIF, WL-Y Population Trend: Substantial Decrease The Willow Flycatcher is a fairly common statewide breeder, but less abundant to the south. Preferred habitat includes open shublands with tall bushes and willows and bushes along marshland edges. BCN Census trends show relatively large annual decreases for this species. Short-term indicate at least a 4% annual decrease. Long-term trends estimate a 3% annual decrease. This species is fairly well sampled by the BCN Census. |
