AMERICAN REDSTART

The American Redstart is an uncommon yearly breeder in the CW Region. Their preferred habitat includes open forests with moderate understory and moderate to dense shrublands and forest edges. This species is much less visible during the breeding season, and its song may be frequently confused with other more common warbler species. Sightings from BCN eBird are sparse and accurate trends cannot be calculated. Photo: © Heather Secker
