CERULEAN WARBLER

The Cerulean Warbler is now a very rare breeder in the CW Region, uncommon to rare in the south. Breeding habitat is varied , but includes tracts of woods in both bottomland forests and forests at higher elevations. They usually nest high in the canopy possibly in trees that are above average in height. This species has only been recorded once on BCN Survey point counts between 1999 and 2007.
