CHESTNUT-SIDED WARBLER

The Chestnut-sided Warbler is a rare breeder in the CW Region. Breeding habitat includes forest edges and open forests with dense understory, particularly regenerating clearcuts. This species' song may be frequently confused with other more common warbler species. BCN eBird data is too sparse to produce reliable trends, but trends show a strong decrease during the past nine years. Photo: © Jerry Kumery
