HENSLOW'S SPARROW

The Henslow's Sparrow is a rare to uncommon breeder in the CW Region. Breeding habitat includes mature, unburned grasslands. Sizeable populations are still limited to large grasslands, but numbers of this species have greatly improved during the past five to ten years. Short term trends show a sizeable yearly increase. This species is well sampled by the BCN Survey. Photo: © Eric Secker
