Sedge Wren

The Sedge Wren is an uncommon breeder in the Chicago Wilderness Region. Breeding habitat includes moist grasslands with mixed forbs, marsh edges, and abandoned weedy fields. Trends were uncertain in 2007, but with the increase in data the latest BCN Survey analysis shows a significant moderate decline for this species. Photo: © Eric Secker
