Cedar Waxwing

The Cedar Waxwing is a common breeder in the Chicago Wilderness Region and most of the Midwest. Breeding habitat is quite varied, but includes forest edges and dense shrublands. This species has always been common in our area and appears to be remaining stable. Photo: © Eric Secker
