N. Rough-wing. Swallow

The Northern Rough-winged Swallow is a fairly common breeder in the Chicago Wilderness Region. Breeding habitat usually includes riverbanks and culverts near water. BCN Survey trends indicate that this species is stable, but they are not well monitored by the BCN Survey. Photo: © Eric Secker
