Sedge Wren

The Sedge Wren is an uncommon breeder in the Chicago Wilderness Region. Breeding habitat includes moist grasslands with mixed forbs, marsh edges, and abandoned weedy fields. Trends in 2013 indicated a moderate decline. The latest BCN Survey analysis indicates that they are stable, but still leaning towards decline with an estimated -1.23% annual decrease.
