Tufted Titmouse

The Tufted Titmouse is a rare breeder in the Chicago Wilderness Region, common to the south. These cavity nesters typically breed in very mature oak woodlands, often near ravines or sheltered areas. BCN Survey trends indicate that this species is stable in the region. Photo: © Gregg Williams
