COMMON NIGHTHAWK
The Common Nighthawk is an uncommon to rare breeder in the CW Region. In natural settings, this species nests in flat open areas with rocks or sparse vegetation. Nighthawks have also adopted flat, graveled rooftops in urban areas. This species is poorly monitored by the BCN Survey. Photo: © Dick Todd |
